"Disco" cupcakes

These bad boys shimmered.

It was pure awesomeness.

And so, so easy.  The inspiration for these came from here, thank you Pinterest.

I found the balls at Orson Gygi, and simply dipped the frosted cupcake upside down into a bowl of them. 

I wish the pictures could capture the shimmer of them.  I highly recommend it.

Angry Monkey

 My daughter "ordered" this cake.  She was very specific about how she wanted it done.  Fondant monkey face on top, sprinkles around the outside.  She pulled out a swim suit that had little monkies all over it and pointed out on it... "I want this face." 
"You want an angry monkey on your cake?"
"Yes."
What do you do?
And since it was her birthday, I let her and her best friend do the sprinkles by themselves.
