Holy Cake, Batman!

Having five daughters and one son, boy cakes aren't something I get to do too often on my own accord :). So THANK YOU to my friends who let me do one for their boys. I fought with this cake. It didn't want to do what I wanted it to do, and it was hard for me to "feel" it. Usually I just follow how a cake "feels" as I'm putting it together. This cake was a brat so I put it away for the night, and the next morning I was able to finish up some details. I wasn't so mad at it after some sleep. This cake is a Swiss chocolate cake (so yummy! Made with buttermilk) and it's the first one that I added a filling too. Cookies n'cream.
